Tree Time Workshops

Founded and led by dan, Tree Time is an annual community workshop where the public is invited to deepen their connection with trees through creative prompts and to learn accessible skills for street tree stewardship. Combining their experiences as an experimental dance artist and urban tree steward, dan offers a stewardship approach rooted in embodied relationship, sensitivity to colonial and indigenous histories, and the relevance of trees to social justice. Tree Time was developed with the support of the Social Justice Movement Lab directed by jill sigman/thinkdance. The next Tree Time workshop is scheduled for early Fall 2026.
